Mission Statement
The mission of Pawprints of Portales Rescue is to use humane principles and education to save animals’ lives through rescue, adoption, spay/neuter services, and community programs.
Meet Cecilia
Cecilia is a 1.5 year old, beautiful grey and white tabby that is fixed and UTD on shots. Cecilia has a big personality! While it takes her a little bit of time to warm up, she does allow pets and affection when she’s comfortable. She has been a solitary cat, but she may do ok around other animals with a slow introduction. No experience with dogs yet. Cecilia is ready to find the perfect family that will allow her to settle in and be comfortable. You won’t regret giving this sweet girl a second chance! |
Bean
Bean is an approx 8 month old tortie who is fixed and UTD on shots. Sadly, Bean originally came to the rescue with her housemates when their own had some major health issues. She was then adopted but returned due to know fault of her own. So we are now on a mission to find her a forever home!! In true tortie fashion, Bean is sassy, fun and lovable! Her tortie markings are beautiful too! She does great in the house, loves to play and “hunt” her toys. She has fantastic zoomies when she’s excited! Bean does great with dogs of all sizes and cats with a proper introduction. Bean deserves all the love and attention she can get! Please give her a second chance today! |
Meet Sissy
Sissy is an approx 3 year old white and grey female that is fixed and UTD on shots. Her big green eyes are beautiful! Sissy enjoys lounging in the window and watching the birds. She has been around dogs and children. Sissy is a confident girl who loves attention. She’s not the fondest of other cats that don’t give her space. So she’ll do best as a single cat or with older cats that will respect her boundaries. Sissy can’t wait to find her forever home today! |
